STUDY TOURS ARE BACK!

Recently I was able to journey back to Australia to visit colleagues, friends, and relational leaders. This included a week-long residency with Elwood Primary School, a face-to-face reunion with International Dialogue members in South Australia, and a visit to One Red Tree that was very impactful.

In return, Susan and I hosted our first Study Tour since Covid. I had the wonderful pleasure of spending time with a group of visiting educators from Australia. On our Study Tour, we had the opportunity to explore all my favorite parts of my home state, and most importantly, I was able to show another group of visitors what is so special about our schools, cultures, and communities here in New Mexico.

It was truly wonderful to get back to Study Tours and exchanges this year. I feel this excitement is shared by others, as I have already received requests for tours next year! One good friend in Australia wrote, in response to the podcast below,;

“Please do a whole study tour centered on the arts!”

Relational Kaleidoscope Episode 8: Study Tour Reflections

I think that in listening to our discussion here, you’re getting a wonderful first-hand look at what can be taken away from a Study Tour through the Center. I hope you enjoy the episode, and as always feel free to reach out to the Center if you have any interest in visiting New Mexico yourself!
